Fun Halloween Decorations That The Kids Can Make

Halloween is a great time to get creative with your kids. It's also a lot of fun to see their faces light up when they realize that they can make the decorations themselves. If you're looking for some fun Halloween decor ideas, look no further than this list:

Monster Door Hanger

To make a monster door hanger, you will need:

  • A piece of paper or cardboard that is at least 4 inches wide and 12 inches long (or whatever size you want your door hanger to be)

  • Scissors or a paper cutter to cut out the shape of your door hanger on the paper/cardboard

  • Glue gun and some glue sticks

To hang it on the wall: 1) Put down some tape in front of where you want to hang it so that it doesn't move during construction. 2) Take off all but one layer of tape from around your piece so that there is just enough room for two people standing side by side next each other with their arms extended outward from their bodies until they meet each other's hands—this should give them enough room so as not get them stuck together when coming up with ideas for decorating rooms throughout their homes! 3) Spray paint both sides evenly using whatever color combination suits best depending upon what moods are going through my mind at this moment."

Jack-o-Lantern Slime

  • Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of borax

  • 1 tablespoon of glue (optional)

  • A few drops of food coloring (optional)

Bat Handprint Door Decor

If you're looking for a fun Halloween decoration that the kids can make, then this is the one. You'll need:

  • Plastic sheeting (at least 2 feet by 3 feet)

  • Paint or markers to draw on it with

  • A small piece of construction paper as a backing (optional)

Coffin Treat Boxes

You can use any size box, but we recommend using a large one. You’ll want to make sure that the treat boxes are decorated with black and white paper. The trickiest part about making this is cutting out the pieces of paper so that they fit together correctly.

You will also need a glue stick in order to attach your decorations on top of the box. Once you have them all cut out and placed inside their respective slots, it's time for glue! Make sure that everything is dry before moving onto another decoration!

Spooky Cat Silhouette

  • Cut out an eye and mouth from black paper.

  • Apply glue to the back of each shape, then attach it to a white paper background by putting some pressure on it with your fingers until the glue is tacky (about 30 seconds).

  • Glue on eyes and mouth pieces to finish off this easy Halloween craft!

Ghost Cup Sticker Surprise

Halloween is a time to get creative with your decor, and what better way to do that than making something out of recycled materials?

To create this DIY ghost cup sticker surprise, you'll need:

  • A plastic cup (I used the kind with handles)

  • Scissors

  • Stickers (or googly eyes!)

These decorations are fun!

These decorations are easy to make and cheap. You can use any materials you have on hand, which means all kids can make them! The best part is that the kids will have fun making these little things. They're sure to be proud of their work when they leave the house on Halloween night!

These are a few of my favorite Halloween decorations that I think the kids will love to make. You can also find some great ideas on Pinterest if you're looking for more inspiration!
